Bathtime with Lovey

Lovey has been so sweet to give Elliott so many baths since we've been staying at her house!

Everywhere and Everything

That is the answer to what Elliott is up to these days.

Today he turned 7 months (photos coming soon!) ... time is flying!

He is absolutely into everything. His crawling has progressed to where he goes wherever he wants all of the time. He pulls up all. the. time. He would much rather be standing than sitting. He loves to climb on anything he can reach!



We are staying at my parents house for our summer stint in Nashville and he loves having lots of space and new things to explore!




He's also starting to "cruise" (aka walk along holding onto something like a couch) and has mastered walking while pushing a moving object (video coming soon).



We love our little monkey!

But I don't WANT to go to UT!!!

Happy Father's Day!

Caroline + Elliott

A couple of weeks ago, we were in Birmingham for work, so we decided to (attempt to) snap a few shots of Caroline and E together. It was about 90 degrees, crazy humid, and both kids were tired and hungry (and that's not even mentioning the pregnant lady!), so it was a great recipe for a photo shoot! Honestly, it was pretty much a disaster. Maybe I'll do an out-takes post after this because there are some good ones.

But we did manage these few cute ones in between screams, twists, bribes, running away, etc. that we gave my mom today for her birthday (Happy Birthday, mom!) and to dad for Father's day!

Migrating Southeast

Have you missed him? Sorry for the drastic delay! We have migrated to Nashville for a few weeks this summer, much to the delight of 4 grandparents. That's right ~ enough of those pleasant mild CA summers and bring on the extreme heat and humidity! We can't get enough!

My parents have recently become master garage sale/craig's listers, and have found countless good deals on toys for the kiddos!

Last Saturday's garage sale outing yielded this amazing train set for ... wait for it ... $3! What a steal! Thanks, GrandGreg! I think he likes it just a little!
