Winston: 10 Months

Better belated than never ...Winston is 10 months and we are barreling quickly toward the 1 year mark.  He has officially taken lots of first steps with his record only being 2-3 consecutive steps.  He's definitely in no rush unlike his older brother who couldn't run fast enough.  I'm enjoying having a crawler for a longer stretch this time.  We are enjoying a few non-travel months of being home and exploring LA.  I just realized that Winston has on the same outfit (unintentionally!) as Elliott had in his photo at 10 months.  I feel like I am seeing more resemblance between them over the past couple of weeks!

Moving Truck with Flat Tires

Elliott's pencil-and-paper skills have been slow to progress partially because he can't sit down long enough to foucs!  But we've seen a few minor breakthroughs lately with some very vague letters and a little tracing.

This morning he ran in to Adam and said, "Daddy!  It's a moving truck with flat tires!" and presented this!  Not bad, eh!?!

First Day of School!

We did it!  Elliott is starting preschool at a church here in LA and yesterday was his first day.  It was pretty overwhelming to figure out the LA preschool system, see who had a current opening, visit to see which we liked, etc., etc. but it is all behind us and Elliott had a great day yesterday!  No tears from E, and only a few from mommy :)
