Halloween

I realized I don't think I ever posted Halloween pics so here are a couple!

We were deciding between 2 costumes so decided to sport 1 at each of our Halloween celebrations!

Thanksgiving/Birthday!!

We have had an awesome Thanksgiving/Birthday today!!

Our prep started yesterday. My sous-chef loves to help cooking!!

This morning, we woke up and got to participate in a local 5k to help contribute and raise awareness for Pancreatic Cancer. Booooo, cancer!! Uncle Mikey, Daddy, and E all got to run while mommy took pictures.

There was a "1k" for kids and E was a champ. He was the youngest by at least a year, but couldn't have been more enthusiastic bringing up the rear! He was full-speed ahead!!

We spent the rest of the day celebrating and eating (!!) with Uncles Mikey and Daniel.

E seemed to do great with the concept of birthday and Thanksgiving all happening together. We celebrated a little throughout the day, and will have his party this weekend to celebrate more!

And we couldn't end the night without at least a little fanfare ... I think he was a little confused why we were handing him fire after making a big deal about never touching fire. Nothing says birthday like ice cream with sprinkles and marshmallows!!


We have so much to be thankful for, especially our little 2-year-old! We couldn't love him more!!

High Chair Repertoire: Wonderpets

We are continually amazed at how he picks up on things he's only heard a few times! Here are the words in case you aren't familiar:

It's a Boy!

We are super excited to announce baby #2 is a boy!! Isn't he cute?

We are mostly thankful for a healthy anything, but we're thrilled about the gender too! I am a wee bit sad to miss out on leggings and dresses, but we are SO excited for E to have a little buddy to run around with. Sweet boys!!

Now if only we had some boy names in mind instead of just 1000 girl names!!!

Gender-guessing time

I have a theory that no one actually reads this blog since everyone has stopped commenting almost completely ... thanks for the love :(.

But, just for kicks, I thought I'd throw up a gender survey because we find out WEDNESDAY if baby big truck is a girl or a boy!


Here are the clues we have:
~ Pregnancy is similar and different than last time. I was sicker last time, but still sick with this one. Food cravings have been stronger but aversions haven't been as intense.
~ In the effort of full-disclosure, the doctor at our 11.5 week ultrasound made a prediction based on seeing something ... a boy something! BUT, she said it could be just a piece of the umbilical cord showing through.
~ Mimi who has a strong track record of gender prediction says girl.
~ I think this baby seems lower than Elliott.
~ Just to get a little ridiculous, the Chinese gender calendar says boy (as it did for E).
