So this is happening ...

Yup! 38.5 weeks!!


We are officially in the waiting game. My due date is a week from Saturday (what!?!?!), but we are in the "any minute" phase technically.

Should we take some guesses on when baby boy will come? Leave your date, time, and weight and we'll give a big hug to whoever is closest!

Clues:

Official Due Date: Saturday, March 31
History: I was induced with Elliott one week after my due date. He was born at 4:20am and was 7 lb, 14 oz.
Plan: We are scheduled to be induced at midnight on the morning of April 5th if he doesn't come sooner. I was in labor for about 22 hours with Elliott, so being induced on April 5th doesn't necessarily mean birthing on April 5th in our world :).
Progress: Last Thursday, I was 1 cm dilated and about 20% effaced. Having a few contractions sporadically but nothing that feels super significant.

NYC

In January, we miraculously snuck up to NYC to visit Ryan and Brittany for a couple of nights. We missed Reese who was still in CA, but loved getting to hang out with little Anna! Special thanks to Lovee/GG for keeping E for us!

Hooray for Walmart!

Well, you will never believe how lucky we are! Our walmart is expanding which means it is a partial construction site! We spend a lot of time like this these days! Soooo many tractors making NO-EEESE!! (aka noise)

Beach Day

We are super spoiled by our CA weather, so one day in early January we took advantage of the sun and spent the morning at the beach. We don't do it NEARLY enough considering how close we are!! It was Elliott's first time in a while, and he was loving it!

There was lots of running, bird chasing, and of course scooping and dumping!!

Christmas ... finally!

Well, despite being 2 months late, this post seems appropriately timed since Elliott and I have had about 15 discussions this morning about if we could please please put up the Christmas tree and put the ornaments on it. He may have cried about it a time or two. We have oh-so-logically explained that a lot of things have to happen before Christmas comes again ~ baby brother will come, baseball will start, it will be summer, then Elliott's birthday, THEN Christmas. His tearful response was "I don't want to have a birthday!" Secretly I can't blame him ... wouldn't it be fun to have Christmas trees all year long!?!?
