Truck Roll-Call

It's been way too long since we've posted a video!!

He is doing so well with his speech but we are definitely in the translation phase where he makes complete sense to us but has to be translated to everyone else.

One thing hasn't changed: his love for big trucks and all things that go.

We caught him "reading" one of his truck books and explaining about each thing. Also, don't miss the counting at the end ... all he knows is how to count with 2's (two, two, two!) and then how to finish the sequence of 1, 2, 3, 4 .... FIVE!

Enjoy!

'Nooga Home 2 of 2

Of course the highlight of our Nooga trip was visiting the aquarium. E loves animals and loved seeing all of the "feevee's" (fishies) and other animals!

His very favorite was the "waddle-waddle's" aka penguins!

Notice what they are admiring. His father is indoctrinating him from a young age:
Adam living out his dream of swimming in a shark cage!

With the waddle-waddle souvenir we took home. We bought it about half way through our visit and hugged it the rest of the way through!

Afterward we went to the greatest most beautiful restaurant Public House ... E loved the fries and ketchup!

'Nooga Home 1 of 2

While we were in Nashville, the 3 of us went on a mini-getaway to Chattanooga. It was perfect ~ an easy distance, fun, and kid friendly!

When we got to our hotel we kept trying to get E to say "Nooga" and telling him that the hotel was our "Nooga Home". He loooooooved the super fancy hotel (aka Country Inn and Suites!) and acted like it was the greatest place he had EVER been! To this day, he keeps asking for our "Nooga Home"!

E in his Nooga Home ... one of the highlights was sitting in the refrigerator, obviously!:

We started with dinner at Foodworks ... don't miss the homemade sweet potato chips and blue cheese dip ... wow!

We ended our first night with an awesome walk around Coolidge Park ... fun!

Can't you just hear him saying "BOAT!":

We found some "dancing water" as we call it which of course was a hit:

Elephant!!

More to come in Part 2 so check back for Aquarium pics!

Haircut

I've been cutting Elliott's hair myself pretty much since day 1. And yes, I learned by googling "how to cut a baby boy's hair".

I think I get a little better each time, and this round we had a major breakthrough with the idea to cut the bottom layers separately from the top layers. Genius and pretty adorable if you ask me!

I think if E ever has a baby sister, she will be awfully cute!!
