Trick or Treat!?!?

We are getting ready for our big Halloween night out and trying on costumes! We have 2 to choose from, and tried on this one this afternoon. Hmmm ... it's going to be hard to top this...

We have been working on Elliott's table manners (aka using utensils, not throwing food, etc.). He seems to be happiest when feeding himself so most mealtimes look something like this:

Costco

Today Elliott and I went to Costco (for the second time in four days, but is it ever enough?).

Mommy got new glasses that apparently make her a sucker ...


... for buying Elliott whatever he wants!

I mean, how could I say no to that shrieking/squealing/joy-filled reaction? The photo above doesn't even do it justice ... just ask anyone who was in the store at the same time because they ALL heard it!!

**PS ~ Notice we are wearing long sleeves!?! It's cold in California!! Hooray!!!

Pumpkin Patch!

Today, a bunch of us went to Irvine Park to the county cross-country meet and the pumpkin patch! Strange, yes, but we have several good friends who coach for Capo Girls X-Country, so we went to cheer for the coaches :) and see the pumpkins. It was a full morning!

We were so excited that newborn baby Emma decided to join us! She's only 12 days old!
