Llama Llama is one of Elliott's very favorite book series, so I loved finding him asleep with it still open ...

Elliott turns 3!

I feel like better late than never is turning into the theme of our blog, yes?  Elliott's birthday season is always hectic with the holidays and my work, and this year was ESPECIALLY crazy since we moved a couple of weeks before.  But we still managed to squeeze in a fun party for him with special friends.  It was great.  As Raegan said "But Elliott had a truck party last year!!" which is true.  But last year was ALL trucks and this year his interest is very specialized into Monster Trucks!

I made Elliott's cake again this year.  Not my best effort, but decent for throwing it together between editing sessions.  As always, he's not too picky!

And here's how the singing and cake went down:

The no-hands eating quickly turned to full-on attack, followed by lots of smashing cars into the cake, which he loved and seemed appropriate for a monster truck party!

Winston: 11 months

Well, we were so late with 10 months that it's already time for 11!  Can't believe we are days away from having a 1-year-old!  Winsty is taking longer series of steps ... his record is maybe 10 ... but still seems very content crawling.  We have all been sick for weeks now (like everyone in America, I think!) so we are looking forward to hopefully warmer months and healthier days ahead!
