ABC's

So, over the past couple of weeks, we've added "ABC's" to our list of songs that we sing mindlessly to Elliott as we are driving, waiting, etc. We haven't coached or tried to teach it to him at all, but have gotten really excited a time or two when he's sung back to us through "c" and even through "d" a time or two.

Saturday he was eating lunch in his high chair and suddenly burst into "abc's" and much to our surprise, sang all the way through "P". A few hours later he sang the whole thing including "next time won't you sing with me" without any prompting or teaching whatsoever.

Meeting Raegan's Brother!

This afternoon we got to go meet Raegan's baby brother! E took to him a little more than Rae did, I think. He doesn't have a name yet but he sure is cute!!

Rain Day

Today was a much needed rain day ~ a break from the heat and drought and sun! Ironically, we actually felt like we could escape the house to go outside BECAUSE it was raining!

We spent much of the morning listening for thunder (our new obsession), feeling the drops, dancing and splashing, and watching the rain.
