Horsies

Elliott has this weird love/hate thing going on with horsies. Maybe it started in January at Mema and Grandgreg's house (**Sidenote: mema is the grandmother formerly known as lovee ... I know it's confusing**) when they presented their latest garage sale find ... a Radio Flyer horse.


It took quite a while to warm up and he kind of loved it but kind of hated it at the same time.



Flash forward to California. We have a barn that makes animal noises that he has always loved playing with. Suddenly, when it makes the horse neigh, he goes into hysterics crying and running away as FAST as he can. No idea why.

Also there was the Disneyland carousel incident (see previous post).

And now he has taken to excitedly saddling up all household objects.

Here it was daddy's toolbox. Today it was an empty Diet Coke carton, and his stuffed dog Barkley who is a bit on the small side for riding.
